Lauren grew up amidst the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended the Madeleine Choir School and traveled with the Cathedral of the Madeleine Choir across the United States and Europe. One highlight was singing for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican!
After falling in love with musical theatre in high school, she attended the University of Utah for Musical Theatre Performance, and was first in the school’s history to graduate the program with an honors degree (HBFA). Her thesis is entitled, “Beyond Classical, Mixing in the Belt: An Exploration of Musical Theatre Singing” (you can read it here.).
Though at heart a mountain girl, Lauren moved to New York City after college and has enjoyed the east coast vibes and humidity (much better for the vocal cords!) Lauren has been fortunate to find success in her passions of musical theatre, songwriting, and modeling. When not on the stage or behind the microphone, Lauren enjoys sampling NYC’s finest offerings of bagels and Levain cookies, reading on her beloved Hell’s Kitchen apartment’s rooftop, and dog watching in Central Park.
